Terms of Service

Effective July 18, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Tiplo iOS application, operated by Aura Crafts LLC ("we", "us"). By using Tiplo, you agree to them.

1. License

Aura Crafts LLC grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Tiplo for personal income tracking. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or abuse the service (including circumventing usage limits or automating requests to our AI backend).

2. Your records

Tiplo stores the shift and tip records you enter. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of what you log. Tiplo's AI parsing (voice and slip scanning) is an assistive convenience: you confirm every entry before it is saved, and the confirmation step is your check on parsing accuracy.

3. Not tax, financial, or legal advice

Tiplo provides record-keeping tools and estimates only. Deduction figures shown in the app are estimates based on your entries and published federal rules; they are not tax advice. Tax outcomes depend on income limits, occupation rules, filing status, and other factors. Always consult a qualified tax professional.

4. Documents and income statements

Documents exported from Tiplo (including the earnings statement and daily tip record) are generated from your own self-reported entries and are labeled as such. We do not verify your entries, and we make no representation that any third party (landlord, lender, tax authority, or otherwise) will accept these documents. Presenting accurate information to third parties is your responsibility.

5. Subscriptions

Tiplo Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID (monthly or yearly; the yearly plan may include a free trial). Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase; subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or Apple's policies. Prices may change with notice; changes apply at your next renewal.

6. Free tier and usage limits

Manual logging is free without usage limits. AI-assisted features (voice parsing, slip scanning, reports) are subject to usage limits for free users and fair-use rate limits for all users. We may adjust limits to protect the service.

7. Availability

AI features depend on network connectivity and third-party services; we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Manual logging works offline.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Tiplo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aura Crafts LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, tax benefits, credit decisions, or housing decisions, arising from your use of Tiplo. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using Tiplo at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse of these terms, including attempts to circumvent usage limits.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Aura Crafts LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
