Voice logging isn't picking up my voice
Check Settings → Tiplo and make sure Microphone and Speech Recognition are both allowed. Voice logging works best within arm's reach of your phone. A normal speaking voice is fine, no need to shout over the bar.
The AI got a number wrong
Every parse lands on a confirmation card before anything is saved, so you can tap any field to fix it. Fields the AI wasn't sure about are highlighted in gold. Your original voice note or slip photo stays attached to the shift either way.
How does pricing work?
Tiplo Pro is one subscription with everything included: unlimited logging (voice, slip scan, and manual), the Income Proof Pack, Tax Pack exports, and full-history analytics. The yearly plan starts with a 3-day free trial. Anyone who installed Tiplo before version 1.1 keeps their original free logging plan.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Tiplo, or in the App Store app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the period ends. In-app: Settings → Restore purchases if Pro isn't showing on a new phone.
Is my data backed up?
Your ledger lives on your device in the current version, so deleting the app deletes your records. Don't delete it casually. iCloud sync is on our roadmap. Pro users can export everything as CSV or PDF anytime as a manual backup.
Will my landlord/lender accept the earnings statement?
The statement presents your self-reported records clearly and professionally: monthly totals, hours, and averages. Acceptance is always the recipient's decision; many will pair it with bank statements. It's honest paperwork, not a guarantee.
Is the tax estimate real?
It's an estimate of the federal tips deduction (2025-2028) based on your documented tips, capped at $25,000/year. Income limits and occupation rules apply, so bring the exported record to a tax professional. That's exactly what it's for.
